Why do many liberals try to be martyrs for terrorists and the concept of waterboarding?

If I did what these terroist guys did not only would I want you to waterboarded me but after I came to my senses of what I had done I would entirely accept the breaking of every bone in my body and when I heal break them again for what I did to others and I truly do mean that!
