'Rebel', 13, shot, kneecapped and had genitals removed before being killed by Syria's regime; is it time to?

I have a good friend who is Syrian - his brother just got murdered by the secret police for taking part in the protests. He says they are a mafia, and we need to take them and Iran's govt out before there will ever be peace, since these are the countries funding all the unrest in the area, to keep freedom from spreading to their people.
