Are Iranian girls brainwashed into believing the veil is freedom?

This is exactly the same as putting someone in a cage and brainwashing them into believing the bars are freedom, right? How can they get away with these lies? Why don't the people rise up against their oppressors? Iranians have an obsession with martyrs, well the true Iranian martyrs are the people who get imprisoned, tortured and killed by their own government, not the enemies of Iran. How can the Iranian government get away with such lies?
