We tell our kids not to lie, yet we pretend that Santa Claus is real....?

my parents never lied to me about santa, they told me straight up that santa claus wasn't real but god was and if i was bad i would go to hell... just telling me that saved them a lot of money (i had a whole toy list i was going to give to santa)..... they told me that the tooth fairy wasn't real but i didn't listen to them, i left my tooth under the bed and i waited 2 weeks.... no money. I believed in the easter bunny too until i saw the pastor and the older people hiding all the eggs o.o.
